Zilveren miniatuur kraantjeskan, A. van Geffen, Amsterdam, 1759 Poppegoed Om je broche glanzend te18th century silver miniature spouted jug made by the silversmith Arnoldus van Geffen from Amsterdam. He was active from 1728 to 1769. The spouted jug is hallmarked with the city mark of Amsterdam, the year letter 'z' for 1759, and the master's mark of a horn. Finally, the assay mark "bijltje" has been struck. A comparable jug is depicted in the book "Nederlands klein Zilver" by B. W. G. Wttewaall, illustration 1006, page 328. The lid sits loosely on
